Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C. No gift will be accepted unless it can be used or expended in a manner consistent with the purpose and mission of Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or lifetime, will be accepted if, under any reasonable set of circumstances, the gift would jeopardize the financial security of the donor.<\/span><\/p>

Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C. will refrain from providing tax advice or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisors to assist them in the process of making their gift.<\/span><\/p>

No compensation, whether through commissions, finder’s fees or other means, will be paid to any third party for directing a gift or donor to Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C.

Terms<\/span><\/p>

We accept gifts of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C.’s discretion.<\/span><\/p>

Certain other gifts, real estate, personal property, personal property, gifts in kind, illiquid securities and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is otherwise restricted, should be reviewed prior to acceptance because of special obligations or liabilities that may relate to Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C.
<\/span><\/p>

Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C. will provide acknowledgements to tax-compliant donors for property received by the charity as a gift. However, with the exception of gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value will be attributed to any receipt or other form of proof of a gift received by Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C.

Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C. will respect the donor’s intention with respect to restricted purpose gifts and gifts relating to the wish to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous donations, Espacio Nancarrow O’Gorman A.C. will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members who, for logistical reasons, have a need to know.
